2020 Escape

Capability

Capability to Explore

It’s a big world out there. Escape lets you hit the road and explore it with the choice of three different engines. To help you stay in control, there’s also the available All-Wheel Drive and All-Wheel Drive Disconnect and standard Selectable Drive Modes.

Available All-Wheel Drive (AWD) AWD Disconnect

Designed to help save fuel, available All-Wheel Drive Disconnect lets you disconnect the rear driveline when the system detects AWD is not needed. This allows only the front wheels to propel the vehicle, therefore reducing drag and the overall energy demands of the drivetrain.
Selectable drive modes to help improve driving experience and handling

Selectable Drive Modes

Designed to help improve your driving experience and handling on varying road surfaces. The different modes are Normal, Eco, Slippery, Sport and Deep Snow/Sand.10  Once selected, each of these driving modes can modify the electronic stability control system and traction control system without you having to do anything.
