The Ford Escape for 2022 offers a wide range of available technologies to help keep you aware of your surroundings and ever-changing traffic conditions.10 Ford Co-Pilot360™ is an advanced suite of standard driver-assist technologies to help keep you connected and confident as you hit the road when part of your adventurous and active lifestyle.

Ford Co-Pilot360™10

In an increasingly crowded and stressful world, we can all use more confidence on the road. Ford offers standard and available features to help keep you confident, from the driveway to the highway.10  

Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)118

If the system’s sensors detect a potential collision with a car or pedestrian in front of you, a warning flashes and an audible alert sound. Also, the brakes will precharge and increase brake-assist sensitivity to provide full responsiveness when you do brake. If you do not take corrective action and a collision is imminent, the brakes can apply automatically.118  

BLIS® with Cross-Traffic Alert10

This smart feature helps increase your awareness where you need it most. BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert uses radar to identify if a vehicle is detected in your blind spot and alerts you with an indicator light in the appropriate exterior mirror. Cross-Traffic Alert also uses radar to watch for traffic behind you as you’re slowly backing out of a parking spot or driveway.10 

Available Active Park Assist 2.09

Parking made easy – even in tight parallel or reverse perpendicular spots. When engaged, it can help locate a potential spot. Then all you have to do is brake to a complete stop, shift into Neutral and hold down the Active Park Assist button – your vehicle does the rest. Available Active Park Assist 2.09 also offers Park Out Assist with side-sensing capability so you can confidently navigate out of a parking spot when someone’s parked too close to you.10

Available Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control10 

Available Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control adds Speed Sign Recognition to go along with features like Stop-and-Go and Lane Centering Assist10,174. Once you’ve activated the feature and set your preferred speed, the system can detect and automatically adjust to speed limit signs along your route. This smart system can also bring the vehicle to a stop, when needed, if traffic ahead has stopped or slowed.10 As soon as things clear, you’ll resume your set speed. * And that’s not the only way it enhances your cruise control experience. The Lane Centering Assist feature even scans lane markings to help you keep your vehicle centred between the lines.
*If vehicle is stopped for more than three seconds, driver must intervene and press "RES" button or accelerator pedal to resume system operation.

Rear View Camera10

The Rear View Camera provides a great view of what’s behind your vehicle. Just make sure to keep the camera lens free of debris (like snow or dust) and you can navigate your vehicle in Reverse with confidence.10

Available Evasive Steering Assist10, 138  

This available feature can help make it easier to avoid a potential collision. It doesn’t steer for you, but it can provide extra steering support if the system warning goes off and you need to manoeuvre around the vehicle ahead.10, 138  

Lane-Keeping System10, 138  

The standard Lane-Keeping System can help you stay in your lane, even during a moment of distraction. This feature scans your vehicle’s position between the lines in the road ahead and can alert you if you’re starting to edge out of your lane.10,138

Available Voice-Activated Navigation System12

Combining Global Positioning System (GPS) technology with 3-D mapping, the navigation system provides voice-guided turn-by-turn directions. An LCD touchscreen in the centre stack offers swiping capabilities, combined with pinch-to-zoom functionality and responsive, adaptive search results based upon your preferences.12 

Auto High-Beam Headlamps10 

Standard Auto High-Beam Headlamps can sense poor lighting conditions and switch on to light your path ahead. They can even sense oncoming headlights and dim automatically, so you don’t have to worry about blinding other drivers.10

Available Head-Up Display

The available Head-Up Display creates an image on a screen in front of the driver. This minimizes the distraction of having to look at the instrument panel.
