Breadcrumb Navigation

When you’re out on the trail, the available GPS navigation gets you where you’re going and back again. Dropping virtual breadcrumbs along the way, the GPS remembers your route just in case you need some assistance getting back to where you started.

Available Voice-Activated Touchscreen Navigation System

Combining Global Positioning System (GPS) technology with 3D mapping, available navigation6 provides voice-guided turn-by-turn directions. An LCD touchscreen in the Centre Stack offers swiping capabilities, combined with pinch-to-zoom functionality and responsive, adaptive search results based upon your preferences.

Only standard on the Bronco® Sport Badlands™ model, at slow speeds in certain G.O.A.T. Modes,* the Front 180-Degree Camera with Split View10 gives you a closer look at what lies ahead, projecting an image of the trail onto your centre screen. It can bring clarity to the trail and give you a better view of the obstacles that you may be approaching.

Auto High-Beam Headlamps10

With standard Auto High-Beam Headlamps, 10 unlit roads, dark peripheries and other low-visibility situations don’t have to catch you off guard. Auto High-Beam Headlamps can sense poor lighting conditions and switch on the high beams to light your path ahead. They can even sense oncoming headlamps and dim automatically so you don’t have to worry about blinding other drivers. As a result, you can keep your focus — and both hands on the wheel. 10

This standard feature scans the road ahead and can alert you to potential collisions with vehicles or pedestrians detected in your path. If an impact becomes imminent and you don’t take corrective action, the brakes can apply automatically. But don’t worry – they’ll only activate if they’re needed.118

Available Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go Lane Centering10 , 174

Only available on the Bronco™ Sport Big Bend,™ Outer Banks™ and Badlands™ models is a version of Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) that employs advanced radar and camera technology. 10 ACC lets you set a cruising speed and distance from the vehicle ahead of you. When it slows down, you automatically do too; when traffic picks back up, you resume your preset speed and distance. Then comes ACC with Stop-and- Go,10, 174 which enables you to come to a complete stop when the vehicle ahead stops.10 If your stop is longer than three seconds, you must intervene and press the RES button or the accelerator pedal to resume system operation. Now add Lane Centering,10, 174 which scans the lane markings to help you stay in your lane if the system detects you’re drifting out of it. When equipped on Big Bend, Outer Banks and Badlands models, Intelligent ACC also includes Speed Sign Recognition.

Available Evasive Steering Assist10

It happens. You come upon a slow or stopped vehicle in your path. And you need to take evasive action. That’s when available Evasive Steering Assist10 comes into play, employing the camera and radar sensor technology of the available Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking118 to detect the vehicle ahead and apply active braking. * If the distance to the vehicle ahead of you isn’t too short and a collision can’t be avoided by braking alone, Evasive Steering Assist10 can help you manoeuvre around the vehicle by providing additional steering support when the effort you’re applying is not sufficient. *
