And for optimal crawling capability, Bronco has available front and rear locking differentials.

Bilstein position sensitive damper with end-stop control values

Advanced HOSS with Heavy-Duty BILSTEIN Position-Sensitive Dampers with End-Stop Control Valves

These available shocks have internal hydraulic end stop control valves that give them position-sensitive damping. This allows for less damping control over small road inputs for floating over rough road and more damping control at the ends of travel for soaking up large bumps. Available on any trim upfitted with the Sasquatch Package, and standard on Badlands and Wildtrak.

Electronic Front and Rear Locking Differential

For additional control in uneven, rugged and slippery terrain, locking differentials allow both wheels on an axle to rotate at the same speed and evenly apply the same power. This is an important feature when traversing rugged, uneven off-road terrain. The Ford Bronco features a Dana 44 AdvanTEK® solid rear axle and Dana AdvanTEK independent front differential unit (standard/non-locking). The available locking differentials are Spicer® Performa-TraK.

Front Stabilizer Bar Disconnect

For extreme rock crawling, you want your front tires to be able to move up and down independently from one another. The available stabilizer bar disconnect feature helps them do just that. So for you to move freely over wild uneven terrain, the system (when engaged in Rock-Crawl Mode or manually), disconnects over uneven terrain—providing maximum articulation. The system offers a unique-to-the-class design* and has instantaneous disconnect function regardless of articulation. The Bar can also be reconnected automatically when speeds exceed 32 km/h. Standard on Badlands and not available on Wildtrak.
